Abstract
Edge computing has become a pivotal paradigm for overcoming the limitations of cloud computing in Internet of Things (IoT) environments. This paper investigates the convergence of edge computing and IoT systems, focusing on its role in minimizing latency, strengthening data privacy, and enhancing real-time processing capabilities. A thorough analysis of existing architectures is provided, along with diverse industrial applications. Additionally, we propose a novel framework to optimize data distribution and resource management at the edge, contributing to more efficient and scalable IoT solutions.
